When the Flash was introduced into the DC Extended Universe via Batman v Superman three years ago, we were promised a solo movie for the Scarlet Speedster. In poorly narrated films, a voice-over is utilized to clear up jumbled plot points and provide context, often for a film crippled by a muddled script.
